Modern Times’ Hopped Orange Creamsicle

When we tasted Modern Times’ barrel-aged Thermometer Island sour saison with cara cara and blood orange, we knew we had to make it into ice cream. We add a little blood orange juice, a dash of rosewater, a bit of extra hops, and lots of their delicious beer to a coconut cream and cashew milk ice cream. It’s fruity, and a tiny bit bitter, or if you’re looking to explore the taste more deeply, it’s simply one of the best orange sherbets you’ve ever had.
