This might be the boldest and most intense coffee ice cream you'll ever lick. Featured exclusively on our East Coast shops' Classics Menu since 2021, this ice cream showcases Panther Coffee's "1987" roast, renowned for its dark, roasted bitterness. We steep the coffee grounds in cream and salt for an hour to extract these robust flavors. The full fat in the ice cream removes the intense, dark, bitter flavors from the coffee. Adding balance and subtle sweetness, our homemade chocolate tres leches cake swirl includes chocolate cake soaked in a blend of sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, cream, cinnamon, and Coconut Cartel's Guatemalan añejo sipping rum, which imbues a complex, coconutty profile and smooth texture.

This flavor is a collaboration with Miami-based partners Panther Coffee, known for their exceptional single origin and blended coffees roasted in vintage 1920s roasters, and Coconut Cartel, founded by Mike and Dani Zig, who specialize in premium-aged Guatemalan rum infused with coconut water. The Zigs grew up between Miami, Guatemala, and El Salvador, and eventually began 'smuggling' coconuts in their suitcases from islands off the coast of El Salvador, directly to Miami Beach's best hotels.
