The star is a seasonal apple cider cake doughnut, which is made with both shredded apple and apple cider, spiced with cinnamon and sugar and topped with a crumbly streusel topping. The crisp outer shell of the fried doughnut keeps the inside moist and tender in ice cream. Royal icing-inspired ice cream mimics the drizzle that finishes each donut, and thick ribbons of cinnamon-infused vanilla caramel reinforce the fall festival vibes.
