We create a peppermint coconut ice cream using Seely Farms peppermint oil and a splash of vanilla, then add untempered 66% organic TCHO chocolate, which shatters into tiny, melt-in-your-mouth freckles. Like American stracciatella, this freckling technique disperses melted chocolate into tiny particles suspended in the ice cream, delivering an intense chocolate flavor without the waxiness of typical chunks. First introduced to our Classics Menu in San Francisco, this vegan mint chocolate chip ice cream is perfected with ethically sourced chocolate from TCHO, renowned for its commitment to fair trade.

In 2022, all of TCHO’s baking products shifted to entirely plant-based—meaning no milk, butter, or other animal products—perfect for our minty vegan classic.
