To celebrate summer strawberries at their best, we embarked on a journey of culinary experimentation to prevent rich dairy from obscuring the bright quality of fresh strawberries. Inspired by a 200+-year-old Italian tradition, we discovered the secret ingredients that would enhance the flavor of these small berries: a hint of vinegar and black pepper. Che figata! (How cool.) Our fresh strawberry ice cream is infused with Honey Ridge Farms' tangy honey balsamic vinegar and freshly ground cubeb pepper, complemented by generous dollops of bright strawberry jam from Oregon Hills. A favorite since 2011, this flavor captures the essence of strawberries in every spoonful, appealing to foodies looking for a unique twist on classic strawberry ice cream.
