Food Runners’ Banana Bread Pudding

Ever wonder what happens to the extra pastries on morning meeting snack trays in conference rooms around Silicon Valley? Food Runners picks them up and delivers them to neighborhood food programs—and this month, to our kitchen, where we transformed them into  cinnamon-spiced brown sugar bread pudding. Chunks of bread pudding get added to dreamy spiced banana ice cream (made with over-rippened bananas and spiked with nutmeg, honey, and vanilla) along with a swirl of sesame caramel.
