Gingerbread Cookie Dough

Every year we bake up a huge batch of our grandmother’s molasses cookies, the perfect mix of black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, molasses, and ginger. We blend some of them to make a rich cookie butter, which we swirl into our very own rum royal icing ice cream. Then we chop the rest of them up and fold them in, so you get bits and pieces of gingerbread in every bite.
