The idea for Essence of Ghost was to create a flavor that attacks your senses—and makes you feel like you’ve tasted a ghost! The combination of a light, airy sherbet and dense, rich chocolate ice cream is meant to be startling and somewhat confusing, as if you just encountered an otherworldly presence.

The base of this flavor is bright white sherbet that's been infused with scotch and Mexican vanilla. It’s refreshing, funky and peaty, with sweet, smoky notes. Wisps of intense black licorice chocolate ice cream are swirled throughout the sherbet, creating a complex and confounding textural experience.
