Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge

This is our third year whipping up a batch of playfully delicious Cake Batter Chocolate Fudge in partnership with Compartés—a flavor that celebrates chocolatier Jonathan Grahm’s uniquely over-the-top approach to the art of chocolate. We start with homemade confetti cake batter and blend it into the ice cream for a colorful, sprinkle-filled base. Thick swirls of brown butter chocolate fudge—made extra rich with a heavy helping of real vanilla beans—add a frosting-like finish to this chocolate-forward flavor.

Compartés Chocolate originally started back in the 1950s in Brentwood, Los Angeles where it instantly became a favorite of legends like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra and Elvis. In the early 2000s, Jonathan Grahm took the reins and reinvented the company, creating some of the most sought-after chocolate (and some of the most stunningly designed packaging) in the industry.
