This former Salt & Straw classic was one of the company’s very first flavors, born from a treasured family recipe from Grandma Malek: almond brittle. Passed down through three generations—and one of the first recipes our Head Ice Cream Maker, Tyler, ever learned—the brittle was made by pouring it onto sheet trays while still hot, sprinkling chocolate chips on top to melt into the candy, and finishing with a generous pinch of salt.
