Gather 'round for another treasure from Grandma Malek’s recipe collection. We create this confection just as she did back in the day—studding brittle with candied almonds. Slivers of the brittle and decadent chocolate ganache nuggets (creamy, truffle-like delights bursting with salty sweetness) are folded into our classic Double Fold vanilla ice cream. Each scoop is sure to evoke the sweetest memories.

This is a former Salt & Straw classic flavor—one of the first ever created in the company. It also features another recipe from Grandma Malek: almond brittle. The recipe has been in the Malek family for three generations. Grandma Malek used to make the brittle and pour it onto sheet trays. While it was hot, she added chocolate chips so they’d melt on top of the candy, then sprinkle a heavy pinch of salt on top.
