“A KIDS BOOK ABOUT ICE CREAM” EVENT — SWEEPSTAKES 

OFFICIAL RULES 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

ELIGIBILITY: The “A Kids Book About Ice Cream Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who are able to attend the Event (defined below) in person in Portland, OR on Monday, September 21, 2026, in New York City, NY on Monday, September 28, 2026, or in Costa Mesa, CA on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Employees, officers, and directors of Salt & Straw, LLC (“Sponsor”), Williams Sonoma, Inc., A Kids Company About, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and any advertising or promotion agencies involved in this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such person, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. 

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. PT Pacific Time (“PT”), and entries must be received by Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the “Entry Period”). Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes. 

HOW TO ENTER: During the Entry Period, complete the entry form (the “Entry Form”) at the link provided in Sponsor’s email communication regarding the “A Kids Book About Ice Cream” events in Portland, Oregon, New York City, New York, and Costa Mesa, CA, with Salt & Straw co-founders Kim and Tyler Malek (the “Event”), and submit the required information requested on the Entry Form. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address, regardless of the number of email addresses a person may have. Any attempt to obtain more than one entry by using multiple or different email addresses, identities, or any other method is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Use of any macro, script, bot, or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited and may result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or otherwise not received, in whole or in part, for any reason. 

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: On or about Sunday, September 20, 2026, by 9:00 p.m. PT, five (5) potential winners per market will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Potential winners will be notified using the email address provided on the Entry Form. No liability is assumed for any notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received for any reason. A potential winner who fails to respond to the notification within twenty-four (24) hours of the first attempted notification, or who cannot attend the Event, may be disqualified, and an alternate potential winner may be selected in a random drawing from among the remaining eligible entries, time permitting. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to require a potential winner to execute a Declaration of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where legal, a Publicity Release (collectively, “Prize Claim Documents”) prior to being declared a winner. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she may be disqualified and an alternate potential winner selected. 

PRIZES: There are five (5) prizes available in each market (each, a “Prize”). Each Prize includes the following components: 

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Prize: $40 (based on the retail cost of the two (2) Event tickets included in the Prize; the value of the remaining Prize components is nominal and not separately assigned a retail value). Only the Prize described in these Official Rules will be awarded. Prize is not redeemable for cash, is non-transferable, and no substitution is permitted, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, including in the event a Prize or any component becomes unavailable, in which case Sponsor may substitute a prize or prize component of comparable or greater value. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and/or local taxes, and for any other costs and expenses not specifically described in these Official Rules, including but not limited to travel and lodging associated with attending the Event. 

ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period. 

ADDITIONAL RULES: Entries that have been tampered with or altered are void. Sponsor is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or garbled entries; (ii) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, theft or destruction of, or unauthorized access to, entry data; or (iii) any technical, network, telephone, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunction of any kind. By participating, entrants (and, if a minor, entrant’s parent or legal guardian) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process or violated these Official Rules, and to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes if it believes, in its sole discretion, that fraud, a technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Sweepstakes, in which case Sponsor may, if possible, select winners from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event giving rise to the impairment. 

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants (and, if a minor, entrant’s parent or legal guardian) release the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of a Prize, including without limitation travel to and attendance at the Event. Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes and acceptance of a Prize constitutes each winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of his/her name, city and state of residence, and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Any and all disputes arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and shall be governed by the internal laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflicts-of-law principles, in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and entrants consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
