Missionary’s Meyer Lemon Chocolate Sorbet (v)

What’s your take on whether chocolate and citrus can play nicely? Melissa Berry of Missionary Chocolates is firmly in the yes camp, and we’re with her. We love that her dairy-free, award-winning chocolate truffles began as a gift for her vegan mother and evolved into a company with a missionto open an inpatient, integrative healing center here in Portland. Like Melissa, we haven’t held back on the assertiveness of lemon or the intensity of dark chocolate, marrying them in a rich vegan sorbet that we’d like to think has some healing properties of its own.
