Freckle & Hyde Potion

“Late one accursed night, I compounded the elements, watched them boil and smoke together in the glass, and when the ebullition had subsided, with a strong glow of courage, drank off the potion.”—Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Robert Louis Stevenson

We wanted to capture the first taste and sensation of Dr. Jekyll’s transformative potion, distilling this haunting moment in literature into a single scoop. We bubble together a cauldron of cranberry sorbet freckled with dark chocolate and bitter melon coconut sherbet with coconut ash coated pop rocks to shock and delight. A swirling mystery of textures, sweet and bitter, surprising and smooth, these two colors and textures battle against each other, like two sides of a personality.
