Adam Dick and Dustin Taylor started making furniture and wooden boats, then moved onto making single-origin bean-to-bar chocolate. Lucky us. They excel at flavoring, so we drew inspiration from their Black Fig bar. We candy figs in sherry, chop those up, and fold then into an ice cream made with their chocolate. Then we add shards of even more of their Madagascar chocolate, which has the same dark fruit and Pinot Noir flavors as the fig.
