Cloudforest Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies & Cream (v)

Our friend Sebastián Cisneros of Cloudforest is like a unicorn in the
chocolate world—one of the few artisans who roasts his own cacao beans and
crafts them into chocolate confections, tapping into both the scientific and artistic
sides of this delicious craft. So we dreamed up a totally over-the-top indulgent chocolatey ice cream to show off his 70% chocolate sourced from the very place he first experienced cacao as a child in Ecuador. We start with a vegan chocolate ice cream made with coconut cream and hazelnut butter, swirl in ribbons of Cloudforest chocolate, and add pebble-sized crumbs of our homemade gluten-free and vegan oreos. This one’s far creamier than any vegan ice cream you’ve ever experienced—all the better to showcase that incredible chocolate!
