Arbequina Olive Oil

One of our first flavors—simultaneously the most simple and complex—and a perfect example of how ice cream can illuminate an ingredient. Red Ridge Farms in beautiful Oregon wine country was the first commercial olive mill in the state and the one to establish olives as a viable crop for the region. We adore their extra-virgin Arbequina olive oil, made from a fruity varietal native to Spain but grown in Oregon and California. If you don’t think sweet cream emulsifies beautifully with a spicy, grassy, floral oil with notes of banana, you’re in for one big velvety surprise. Not just one of Oprah’s Favorite Things, but ours as well.
