This is not your grandma’s banana bread. Our friends at Urban Gleaners—a non-profit working to reduce food waste and fight food insecurity—rescue bananas from local grocery stores, then deliver them straight to our kitchen. We roast bunches and bunches of bananas in honey and spices to make a jammy banana bread ice cream you simply can’t resist. Next, we coat “Uglies” potato chips made from potatoes with slight imperfections in the most beautiful chocolate possible and drizzle in a perfect ribbon of handmade caramel.

We lean into the yogurt whey’s natural pop of acidity and the unique flavor of their sparkling tonic by making a whey-infused frozen yogurt with a passionfruit-spiked lemon curd, and then fold in homemade butter mochi donuts glazed in yuzu frosting. This flavor sings on your tastebuds and makes you think of new wheys to use traditionally wasted products.

Our signature flavor combines Guatemalan fleur de sel ice cream with ribbons of housemade, hand-burned caramel for a positively obsession-worthy blend of salty and sweet. We created this ice cream with Mark Bitterman, the ‘selmelier’ behind The Meadow, a family of world renowned salt shops in Portland and New York City. He literally wrote the book on the subject—the James Beard Award-winning cookbook Salted—and has aided many of our saltier ice cream experiments since 2011.

A strawberry triple threat. We steal a trick from the Italians, using balsamic and citrusy cubeb black pepper to help coax out the fruit's acidity and brightness.
We experimented with several ways to keep rich dairy from obscuring the bright quality of fresh strawberries. Our favorite was to reclaim their acidity with a splash of honey balsamic, then blend in earthy, spicy cubeb pepper to play off the fruitiness. We also weave in generous swaths of strawberry jam, which stays supple when frozen and accosts your senses immediately with that concentrated fruit flavor.

Our signature flavor combines Guatemalan fleur de sel ice cream with ribbons of housemade, hand-burned caramel for a positively obsession-worthy blend of salty and sweet. We created this ice cream with Mark Bitterman, the ‘selmelier’ behind The Meadow, a family of world renowned salt shops in Portland and New York City. He literally wrote the book on the subject—the James Beard Award-winning cookbook Salted—and has aided many of our saltier ice cream experiments since 2011.

A strawberry triple threat. We steal a trick from the Italians, using balsamic and citrusy cubeb black pepper to help coax out the fruit's acidity and brightness.
We experimented with several ways to keep rich dairy from obscuring the bright quality of fresh strawberries. Our favorite was to reclaim their acidity with a splash of honey balsamic, then blend in earthy, spicy cubeb pepper to play off the fruitiness. We also weave in generous swaths of strawberry jam, which stays supple when frozen and accosts your senses immediately with that concentrated fruit flavor.
